Specifications include a DC Autofocus Motor (Non-USM) for the Focus Drive, a lens construction of 9 groups and 13 elements, a diagonal angle of view ranging from 32 degrees to 8 degrees, and a minimum focusing distance of 4.9 feet (1.5m). The minimum aperture range is f/32-45, and the filter diameter is 58mm. Measuring 4.8 inches in length and 2.8 inches in diameter, the lens weighs 16.8 ounces.
The improved mechanism within this 75-300mm telephoto zoom lens with a maximum aperture of f/4-5.6 ensures smoother zooming operation.
